Relatively new bookie from the founder of Beteasy and ClassicBet. The website is a generation 2 created by GenerationWeb. It is very easy to use and has almost everything including SGM aon AFL, League and Basketball. Their service is amazing with live chat times very good. They offer sports match unseen for the major sites with an amazing racing product. We are getting good feedback on their bonus offers and promos for existing clients.

SportsBet

SportsBet is largest corporate bookmaker in Australia with over 50% market share. SportsBet is owned by Flutter Entertainment, the enormous British conglomerate who own Paddy Power, Betfair, Sky Betting, FanDuel, Poker Stars and Sportsbet. SportsBet offers average pricing but an enormous amount of markets and options. Their website is the best of the Australian Bookmakers but expect to get paid slightly lower dividends so they can keep up their huge margins. Customer service is good for losing clients but many low margin or winning clients complain about their bets being rejected or cut dramatically. Promotions are good with offers around your team leading, money back for horses to be placed and odds boost.

TopSport

Topsport is owned by Lloyd and his son Tristan Merlehan. They operate from Tweed Heads Greyhounds and have operated for many years. Pricing is generally slightly better than the bigger bookies for racing and very similar for sports. Topsport promote they don’t bar any punters and tend to have more pros and educated punters than SportsBet or Ladbrokes. They are often a good lead of where the “smart” money is. The topsport website underwent a big update 12 months ago and is now good without having all the perks of the big bookies. Navigation is fairly easy except the more exotic markets can be hard to find as they are put in brackets that are not very clear. Promotions are average and same game multis available but slightly limited.

Ladbrokes is owned by the huge English company Entain who own Ladbrokes, Coral, bwin, partypoker and Gala. In Australia they purchased the online operator https://bookmaker.com.au and more recently https://neds.com.au Ladbrokes and Neds have the same pricing and both run by CEO Dean Shannon who started Bookmaker.com.au The websites are good without having all the bells and whistles. Customer service can be hit and miss but they tend to get there in the end. They too reject winning clients but perhaps not as severe as some. Promotions are good with usual money back and odds boost.

TAB

Publicly listed company that has a monopoly of the totalisators in Australia. They operate betting shops, on track and online presence. The totalisator pools have become smaller and smaller due to the growth of corporate bookmakers and fixed odds betting. The website is dated but relatively easy to use. Customer service is archaic and new clients struggle with verification and deposit issues. Promotions are average, most being $50 free bets if your bet loses.

BetDeluxe is owned by Noah Rose with a group of other Melbourne on-track bookies. They claim to have higher limits and let people on but still similar to the small/medium size bookies. The software is fairly generic and includes an app. They do not have same game multis. Odds are good. Customer service is above average. Promotions are pretty standard but they do throw in some good bonuses for VIPs.

PointsBet

PointsBet is a listed company of the ASX. It was founded by Nick Fahey and operated by CEO Sam Swanell. PointsBet although starting with an Australian focus has successfully attained licences in several US states and moved their focus offshore. The pointsbet website is a little hard to navigate and has most but not all options. Spread betting is available on some markets which is unique in Australia however these can by more risky for the non-experienced punter. Pointsbet odds are generally average to good on racing and sport.. Customer service is good however some clients do complain about being restricted. Promotions are good with great odds being offered on their weekly specials however they are only normally for small bets of $25 or $50.
